Maintenance, since 2006

Keep it the way it was designed.

$500 to $1,200+ per month

001 / Maintenance

The same crew that built it.

A renovated yard keeps changing after the crew packs up. Plants fill in, beds settle, irrigation zones drift, and a Pacific Northwest winter works on all of it. Maintenance is how the yard stays the one you paid for, with pruning windows for each plant, mulch cycles, irrigation tuning, lighting upkeep, and winter prep that follow the plan as the landscape grows into it.

We offer it to the homeowners we've designed or built for. Chris or Cameron led your design, our crew built it, and the people who come back to care for it know what's there because they put it there. Maintenance runs under Carl Scheer, our Maintenance Manager & Technician.

Visits are weekly or biweekly, and programs run $500 to $1,200+ a month depending on the property and what's planted. We don't offer a monthly visit. In this climate, every other week is the least it takes to keep a finished landscape looking the way it was designed.

002 / How maintenance works

Care that follows
the plan.

  1. I.

    Walk the finished yard

Once your project is built, we walk it with you and list what needs what, including pruning windows, irrigation zones, lighting, and the spots to watch as the plants mature. The care plan follows the design and adjusts to the season and the landscape's age.

  2. II.

    Weekly or biweekly visits

The same crew comes every visit, so they know what looked right last month and what doesn't now. You get notes after each visit so you know what got done.

  3. III.

    Seasonal work

Spring and fall cleanup, winter prep, mulch refresh, lighting checks, and irrigation winterization go on the calendar ahead of time with an estimate, so spring doesn't bring surprises.

005 — How it actually goes

What the build looks like
from your side.

Most of our buyers have been burned before — by a quick-quote contractor, a vague estimate, a crew that vanished. Here's what to expect, step by step.

  1. I.

    The first meeting

Chris or Cameron shows up. It's not a sales pitch — it's both sides deciding whether the fit is right. Bring your questions. We'll bring ours. If it's a fit, we keep going. If not, you've lost nothing.

  2. II.

    See it before the shovel

Your conceptual landscape design is a real plan — materials, layout, planting, lighting, and a clear cost estimate — worked out at the kitchen table before the first day of work. No lowball quotes that balloon later. You see the project, then decide.

  3. III.

Real numbers, walked through line by line

No off-the-hip estimates. We sit with you and explain what each line item buys and where the cost comes from. From there the work runs on time and materials — you pay for the actual hours on your property and the actual materials used, never a guess that balloons later. It's the fairest model for both sides.

  4. IV.

    Same crew, every week

The same crew builds your project start to finish. Same names on site through the whole build. Changes aren't arguments — they're conversations, talked through and approved before anyone swings a tool.

  5. V.

We don't disappear at the end

Walkthrough, punch-out, follow-up. Many projects roll naturally into a maintenance contract because the team you've worked with for weeks is the same team you'll see next spring. Most of our clients come back for a second or third project.

Begin

It starts with the design.

Maintenance is for the homeowners we've designed or built for. If you're planning a renovation, the first step is a free site walk with Chris or Cameron, and care for the finished yard comes after the build. If we built your yard, please call the office and Jennifer can walk you through the options.
